Our vicar, the Rev. Dr. Paul Moore, sadly retired at the end of October 2025 due to ill health. We are now in a period of ‘vacancy’ until a new vicar is found for the Grindleford, Hathersage and Bamford parishes.

  • 1 March 9.30am – SHC – Holy Communion led by Graham Pigott.
  • 2 March 9.00am – SHC – Vacancy prayer time Grindleford.
  • 8 March 9.30am – SHC – Holy Communion led by Mike Gilbert, former Grindleford resident and previously vicar at Eyam.
  • 15 March 9.30 for 10.00am – Mothering Sunday – Joint service with Hathersage to be held at Hathersage and led by Tony Hill – further details to follow.
  • 22 March 9.30am – SHC – Morning Prayer led by Bernard Madden.
  • 23 March 9.00am – SHC – Vacancy prayer time Grindleford.
  • 29 March – no service at SHC. All welcome at Hathersage.
